About Me:
I grew up in Western New York, just a bit North of Niagara Falls. My husband, David, and I moved to Colorado in 2006 to pursue our graduate work at CU Boulder. We welcomed our first child, Calvin, into our family in May of 2020. In our spare time we love to cook, hike, travel, play music, garden, and play with our little fellow.
What I love about Early Childhood Education:
"Young children are naturally curious about everything. The wonder that they possess for life is contagious and inspiring. There is nothing more wonderful than seeing a child understand something or accomplish something for the first time. While I love teaching children new things, what I love the most about working with children is learning the lessons that they have to teach me."

About Me:
I was born and raised in Boulder CO. In my spare time I am also a dance teacher. I grew up as a competitive dancer in Boulder and became a dance teacher in high school. I now live in Erie with my one year old daughter Blakely. She is the light of my life. Her and I enjoy spending our time playing, exploring and of course dancing.
What I love about Early Childhood Education:
I love how children view the world, themselves and their peers. They share so much of their happiness and joy with the people around them. Children are like sponges, they are constantly retaining new and exciting information. It is fascinating to see how their minds work and grow through learning and exploring. Not only are they learning new things but they are teaching us even more. I can’t imagine teaching not being a part of my life. It makes me smile, laugh and cheer. Teaching holds a special place in my heart.

About Me:
I was born in Colorado but grew up in southwestern Connecticut. Having always been drawn to the mountains, I moved to Boulder in 2018 and am very grateful to live in this beautiful state. My parents, younger sister and our black lab moved here in 2021, I love having them close by. In my free time, I like to practice yoga, skiing, hiking, going to concerts, making crafts and jewelry, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I am also working as a behavior therapist for children with autism. I feel so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful teaching team and community here at OBP!
What I love about Early Childhood Education:
From birth to age five, a child's brain develops more rapidly than at any other time in life. It is incredibly exciting for me to witness and help facilitate this growth. I'm continuously fascinated and inspired by children’s authenticity, curiosity, compassion and creativity. I love being able to foster these qualities in young children while supporting their learning and development.
