We believe yoga has many benefits to young children. Yoga teaches children to notice their breath, calm their bodies, balancing skills, listening skills and cooperation. Yoga is also good exercise for the body! Our children learn to stretch and work their muscles during their hour long practice. Teachers and children attend weekly on site yoga classes Miss Mary.
Mary Susan Stults- Adventure yoga for kids
Southern Utah native Mary Susan Stults has been practicing yoga for 16 years, since she was a young teen. After moving to Boulder, Colorado in 2001, she has made Colorado her home for nearly 14 years. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, you can often find this nature lover hiking or biking on a trail, paddling, surfing, or practicing yoga on the water, camping in the mountains or desert, or exploring her yoga practice outdoors! Mary Susan loves to share her passion for the outdoors and adventure with those around her which has led her to plan and lead yoga retreats and adventure yoga retreats in Colorado and abroad including retreats in Costa Rica, Mexico, and soon-to-be Brazil, and more. A self-proclaimed people person, Mary has taught Yoga for all-ages, family, adaptive, tweens, teens, kids, and tots since early 2011, and is a certified 500+hr RYT Yoga teacher, a WPA/Paddle Into Fitness Certified Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) and SUP Yoga teacher, certified Kids Yoga teacher, certified Adaptive Yoga teacher, and is known by all for her enthusiasm and positive outlook. Many describe her energy as contagious, finding her nurturing and patient style of teaching to be welcoming and supportive. She infuses her Yoga, SUP, and SUP Yoga classes, workshops, and retreats with her grounded yet light-hearted nature. For Mary Susan, being a student of the practice of yoga is as important as being a teacher. When she is not working and teaching herself you can often find her in a teacher training or yoga intensive herself with her teacher Maty Ezraty. She hopes to help others delve into what it means to live well physically, mentally, and spiritually; by exploring and developing their own yoga practice, and translating the joy, strength, confidence, mindfulness, balance, and grace that we find on the mat, into our lives off the mat! Mary Susan taught yoga classes, workshops, and camps throughout Colorado for Young Warriors, and now teaches yoga and SUP Yoga for Amana Yoga Studio in Boulder, and her company's, Float & Flow Yoga & SUP, and Adventure Yoga For Kids throughout Denver, Boulder, and beyond. She also offers yoga and SUP Yoga privates, corporate yoga classes, workshops, and events throughout Colorado. She wholeheartedly believes that Yoga is for everybody, and is passionate about sharing the gift of yoga and SUP, and her love of nature, adventure, and the outdoors with all ages.
