We're excited to announce we've been chosen to participate in a pilot program through Boulder County called Farm to Preschool! This unit will extend through the summer into our new school year and begins next week, July 6. This is very exciting for our school! We will learn the importance of whole, real foods and where they come from and how to keep our bodies healthy and stay active. Through the Farm to Preschool program, we will be growing our own food, conducting taste tests, taking field trips to local farms, visiting the Wednesday afternoon Farmer's Market and attending children's cooking classes! We can't wait to observe and document the children and their response to this exciting opportunity!
